2 Robberies, 1 Burglary: Columbia Police Blotter

The Howard County Police Department provided the following information.

Two individuals were robbed in Columbia earlier this week in separate incidents, according to the Howard County Police Department.

At 11:15 p.m. Monday, police said a man approached a woman in the 5800 block of Robert Oliver Place, then stole her driver's license and cash. The suspect was described as a black man who was 5'10", 200 pounds, wearing a jacket and jeans.
 
At 12:30 a.m., a man approached a woman outside her residence in the 5600 block of Columbia Road and stole her purse, cash, phone and identification, police said.

The man was described as "tall" and "thin," of an unknown race, and was wearing a sweatshirt and jeans, police said.

Burglary
At 11:51 a.m. on Monday, someone got into property in the 6400 block of Beechwood Drive by damaging the front door, police said. Nothing was reported missing, according to the report.
