One person was injured in a fight between two males near The Mall in Columbia last week, Howard County police told Patch.

As a result of the altercation—which took place in the area of Pizzeria Uno at 2 a.m. on Jan. 31—one person was cut, police said.

The victim went on his own to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to police, who reported that no charges had been filed as of Tuesday.

So we have felt unconcerned in Columbia about this sort of crime. How long did we think it would confine itself to Baltimore? The mall is only the beginning.
