Robbery Reported Near Owen Brown Village Center

Three men held another man and stole his cell phone and wallet, according to police.


Police reported three men robbed another man as he walked home from the Giant at the Owen Brown Village Center on Monday night.

Police said as the three men passed the victim in the 7000 block of Cradlerock Way around 10:30 p.m., one of the men grabbed a cell phone from the victim's hand and held the man. Then the other two men reached into the victim's pockets and took his wallet, according to police.

Police reported no weapons were displayed or implied. The three male suspects fled toward the Owen Brown Village Center, according to police.

Police described the suspects as young black men, between 18 to 30 years old. Two of the men were wearing dark hoodies pulled over their heads. The other man was described by police as skinny, wearing a gray long-sleeved shirt with blue jeans and a high-top fade haircut.
