Robbery at Knifepoint Outside of Laurel Hotel

Anne Arundel County police are seeking two suspects.

A man who was driving his vehicle into a Laurel parking lot just before midnight on Thursday ended up being robbed at knifepoint, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

The 50-year-old man told police he was driving into the parking lot at the Garden Inn on the 3400 block of Laurel Ft. Meade Road when a woman flagged him down. He said he thought the woman needed a ride, and he drove over to her to talk to her.

But then a man with a knife opened the victim's driver's side door, demanded money and assaulted him, police said.
