Report: Guilty Verdict in Long Reach Stabbing, Arson Case

Prosecutors will seek life in prison.

A 12-person jury has issued a guilty verdict for Damon Willie White in the first-degree murder and arson case of his ex-wife, who was found dead in her burning Majors Lane apartment on Sept. 7, 2010.

According to the Howard County Times, White, 36, whose four-day trial wrapped up Aug. 19, is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 1, when prosecutors will seek life in prison.

White’s ex-wife Thelma Wynn, was a 37-year-old mother of four children, and was found in a back bedroom of her burning apartment unit in Long Reach, bleeding from multiple stab wounds.
