Report: Attorney Says Homeless Man on Trial for Setting Woman on Fire Not Read His Rights

The man is charged with first-degree murder.

A Howard County Times report says Richard Allen Rodola, a homeless man charged with setting his girlfriend on fire in North Laurel last fall, wants to keep any incriminating comments from being introduced during his upcoming trial.

after police said he set his girlfriend, 37-year-old Pamela Myers, on fire.

She later died from the injuries, and Rodola, 49, is facing first-degree murder charges, according to the newspaper.
