Pizza Delivery Car Theft Leads to Arrest of Three Teens: Howard County Crime Roundup

The latest crime activity reported in the Howard County crime bulletin.

North Laurel: Robbery, Vehicle Theft

Just after 7:30 p.m. on July 16, suspects approached a pizza delivery driver on the 9100 block of Thamesmeade Road, assaulted him, stealing cash and his vehicle. Police later arrested three suspects located in the stolen vehicle. Two of the suspects are 15 years old, while the third is 18 and being charged with robbery, second-degree assault, theft, motor vehicle theft and unauthorized removal of property.

Between 9 p.m. on July 14 and 6:50 a.m. the following morning, an unknown number of suspects entered Clary’s Forest Pool, on the 11600 block of Little Patuxent Parkway, broke a window to an office and attempted to pry open a rear door to the office. Nothing was reported stolen.

Between 6 p.m. on July 14 and 8 a.m. the following morning, an unknown number of suspects entered a shed of Terrapin Adventures, on the 8600 block of Foundry Street, and stole ropes and course materials.

Ellicott City: Commercial Break-In

Between 5 p.m. on July 15 and 3:05 p.m. the following day, an unknown number of suspects entered a trailer at Mr. Tire, on the 8600 block of the Baltimore National Pike, and stole tires.

Ellicott City: Break-In

Between 8:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. on July 13, an unknown number of suspects pried open a rear window and entered a residence on the 5100 block of Ilchester Woods Way. Nothing was reported stolen.

Columbia: Break-In Attempt

Just after 10:30 a.m. on July 15, an unknown suspect entered a residence on the 9200 block of Creekbed Court through a rear door. The victim confronted the suspect, who then fled on a bicycle. Officers located and arrested the suspect on a path, and charged him with first-, third- and fourth-degree burglary, theft and malicious destruction of property.

Columbia: Break-In

Just after noon on July 15, an unknown number of suspects broke a window and entered a residence on the 9300 block of Wild Bees Court, stealing a television, laptop, jewelry and backpack. Police later recovered the stolen items on a nearby path, and the incident is being investigated as possibly related to the break-in attempt above.

Clarksville: Break-In

At 3:48 a.m. on July 18, an unknown number of suspects entered a residence on the 11900 block of Simpson Road, stealing a jewelry box.

Columbia: Break-In Attempt

Between 4:30 p.m. on July 14 and 11 a.m. the following day, an unknown number of suspects attempted to enter a residence on the 5800 block of Wyndham Circle, but failed to gain entry.

North Laurel: Break-In

Between 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on July 14, an unknown number of suspects entered a residence on the 9300 block of Canterbury Riding, stealing a television, jewelry, cameras, a video game system, clothing and coins.

North Laurel: Break-In

Between 12 p.m. on July 10 and 5 p.m. on July 16, an unknown number of suspects kicked in a rear door of a residence on the 10600 block of Hesperian Drive, ransacking the residence, stealing a television and cash.

Cooksville: Break-In

At 1:35 p.m. on July 15, an unknown number of suspects entered the garage of a residence on the 1900 block of Sycamore Spring Court.

Columbia: Vehicle Theft Attempt

Between midnight and 1:43 a.m. on July 16, a vehicle theft attempt was reported at a residence on the 9300 block of Indian Camp Road.

Elkridge: Vehicle Theft

Around 8:30 a.m. on July 15, a blue and white 2005 Suzuki GSXR600 with Maryland tags D78311 was stolen from a residence on the 6300 block of Louden Avenue.

Columbia: Vehicle Theft

Between 12:15 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. on July 17, a black, white and red 1994 Honda CBR 1000F with Virginia tags 669491 was stolen from the 7000 block of Gentle Shade.
