Pedestrians Robbed: Columbia Police Blotter

The Howard County Police Department provided the following information.

Police are investigating two robberies of pedestrians in Columbia in the past week.

In the first case, the victim was walking in the 9600 block of Stebbing Way on May 30 when he was approached by two unknown male juveniles.

One suspect assaulted the victim and the other took the victim’s tennis shoes. Both suspects fled on foot. 

The suspects are described as two black male juveniles, one with light complexion and medium build.

In the second case on June 2, the victim was walking in the 5700 block of Columbia Road when he was approached by two unknown male suspects who assaulted him. The suspects stole two cell phones, ID and a backpack. 

The first suspect is described as a black male, 5’7” to 5’8”, thin, short hair, 17-20 years old, wearing a black hoodie. The second suspect is described as a black male, 5’10” to 5’11”, 170 lbs, 17-20 years old, wearing a gray or black hoodie.
