Parents, Police Searching For Missing Ellicott City Teenager

Sixteen-year-old Emily Wright has been missing since March 27.

Emily Catherine Wright has been missing since March 27, and her mother is asking the community to help find her.

"She could be anywhere," Peggy Wright said.

Emily Wright is 16, and a student at Mt. Hebron High School. She has straight, brown hair, is about 5-foot-4 and weighs about 165 pounds.

Emily has piercings in her lip, nose and ears and a tattoo that reads "Only God Can Judge" on her lower back.

Her mother said Emily left the house on March 27 and did not return home. The family has not heard from her.

Emily is a fluent Spanish speaker. She may use the name "Emely Escobar."

Howard County Police Spokeswoman Sherry Llewellyn said the police department is in constant contact with Emily’s parents.

“We’ve been to a lot of the places that we believe she’s frequented in the past,” Llewellyn said, but “we have not seen her or heard of anybody seeing her” since she March 27.

“We don’t know if she’s stayed local,” Llewellyn said, “or if she’s travelled out of the state.”
