Man Assaulted, Robbed by Two Men in Owen Brown: Howard County Crime Roundup

A man was hospitalized with an eye injury Tuesday evening after being assaulted and robbed by two men in Owen Brown, according to the Howard County Police Department.

The robbery happened at about 7 p.m. on the 7000 block of Cradlerock Way. The victim was robbed of his wallet and money. He would be taken by ambulance to Howard County General Hospital.

Police describe the first suspect as a black male, 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot-8 with a slim build, wearing a black knit cap, black pants, and a black sweater with a crew neck shirt.

The second suspect was described as a black male, 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot-8 with a slim build, wearing a gray jacket, black pants and a black knit cap.

LONG REACH: BREAK-IN

A laptop, an Xbox video game system, a Nintendo Wii video game system, and video games were taken from a residence on the 5400 block of Sleeping Dog Lane. Entry was made through a kitchen window. The break-in happened sometime between 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, and 7 p.m. that same day.

HARPER'S CHOICE: VEHICLE THEFT

A green Volkswagen Jetta was reported stolen from the 5800 block of Harpers Farm Road. The vehicle was reported stolen on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 9:05 p.m.

FULTON: BREAK-IN

A home on the 7900 block of Tilghman Street was broken into sometime between Wednesday, Nov. 24, and Tuesday, Nov. 30, while the owner was on vacation. Entry was made through the garage door. A neighbor had noticed that the residence had been ransacked and contacted the owner.

LAUREL: BREAK-IN

A suspect or suspects attempt to break in to the North Laurel Community Center on the 9400 block of Whiskey Bottom Road. The break-in attempt happened sometime between 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, and 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1. No further information was listed.

JESSUP: VEHICLE THEFT

A work trailer was reported stolen from the 8200 block of Patuxent Range Road. The trailer was reported stolen on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 5:28 p.m.

Savage: Vehicle Theft

A green Plymouth Neon with Maryland license plate 89999CD was reported stolen from the 8600 block of Foundry Street. The vehicle was reported stolen on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 7:31 p.m.

SYKESVILLE: VEHICLE THEFT

A blue Land Rover was reported stolen from the 1700 block of Underwood Road. The vehicle was stolen sometime between noon on Tuesday, Nov. 30, and 3 p.m. that same day.
