Assaults, Robberies at Blandair Park, Columbia Mall: HoCo Police
The Howard County Police Department provided the following information.
2 Juveniles Charged in Assault at Blandair Park
Four juveniles approached someone they knew at Blandair Park, then two of them assaulted her and took her iPod. The incident occurred at 4:55 p.m. on Saturday in the 5700 block of Oakland Mills Road.
A 12-year-old and 14-year-old were charged with second-degree assault. An additional charge is pending.
Harpers Choice Assault
At 2:34 a.m. on Sunday, four strangers approached a man as he was leaving a business in the 5400 block of Harpers Farm Road, then kicked him and tried to steal his phone. Nothing was taken, and the suspects got away.
Money, ID Taken on Whiteacre Road
At 9:59 p.m. on Sunday, three strangers approached the victim, and one demanded money and hit the victim in the 9600 block of Whiteacre Road. An ID card and cash were stolen, and the suspects left.
Assault, Theft Outside Columbia Mall
Two men approached people leaving the Mall in Columbia, in the 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway, at 7 p.m. on Thursday. One man hit the victim, and another took his sunglasses. The suspects got away. This incident was late-reported.
