Howard County Crime Roundup: Police Looking Into Model Home Break-Ins

The following information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Marriottsville: Construction Break-In Attempt

Shortly before 4 a.m. on Jan. 25, an unknown number of suspects attempted to break into a model home on the 2300 block of Adam David Way, but failed to gain entry. Police said the incident is being investigated as possibly being related to two other model home break-ins.

Columbia: Break-In

Between 12:45 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 25, an unknown number of suspects entered a residence on the 5800 block of Stevens Forest Road, stealing a laptop, jewelry box and cash.

Woodbine: Break-In Attempt

Police said within the past six months, an unknown number of suspects attempted to force open the rear basement door of a residence on the 16400 block of Frederick Road, but failed to gain entry.
