Former Employee Steals Computers: Crime Roundup

The following arrest information was supplied by the Howard County police department. It does not indicate a conviction. Crimes reported between Sept. 13 - Sept. 16.

 

Commercial Burglary

A former employee allegedly entered Johnson and Johnson Allstate Insurance near the 10400 block of Twin Rivers Road without permission and stole six computers, two phones and documents at 9:50 a.m. on Sept. 13. Police are currently investigating.

A bikini-wearing woman allegedly entered an unsecured pool deck at the Columbia Gym, placed her hands in the water, and then left when an alarm began to sound around 11:15 p.m. on Sept. 15. Police reported nothing was disturbed or taken.

Residential Burglary

A laptop was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle inside an open garage near the 10500 block of Rivulet Row between 8 p.m. on Sept. 14 and 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 15.

An alarm was activated at a home near the 6200 block of Cardinal Lane at 8:33 p.m. on Sept. 15. Officers responding to the alarm reported finding a smashed rear sliding glass door and drawers rifled through in the master bedroom, but nothing was discovered missing. 

Catburglary

An unknown suspect or suspects took money from a wallet and purse inside the kitchen of a residence near the 7000 block of Glorious Light Place after gaining entry through an open garage door between 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 13 and 3 a.m. on Sept. 14.
