Firefighters Respond to Smoky Columbia Townhouse

Howard County crews found the source in the kitchen.

First responders were called to the 5400 block of Vantage Point Road in Columbia Tuesday night for a report of smoke inside a townhouse, the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services said just before 7:30 p.m.

Firefighters found food burned on the stove and returned to service, the department reported.
