Elkridge Restaurant Robbed at Gunpoint; Burglaries in Three Towns: Howard County Crime Roundup

Elkridge: Robbery
Two men robbed a Pizza Hut restaurant in Elkridge at gunpoint late on Wednesday night, according to the Howard County Police Department.

The robbery happened at about 11 p.m. on the 7200 block of Montgomery Road. The men approached employees, displayed a gun, demanded money and got it, police said.
The suspects then left through the rear of the restaurant, police said.

Both were described as being between 6-feet tall and 6-foot-4 and weighing between 200 and 220 pounds. Their faces were covered, police said.
Oakland Mills: Burglary
"Several items" were stolen from a home on the 9300 block of Matador Road. The suspect or suspects entered through a basement window. The burglary was reported at 2:46 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29. No other information was available.
Ellicott City: Burglary
Binoculars and harness straps were stolen from two unlocked vehicles that were in an open garage on the 3000 block of John Bernard Drive. The burglary occurred sometime between 9 p.m. on Monday, March 28, and 7 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29.
Ellicott City: Burglary
Credit cards were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in an open garage on the 3000 block of Seneca Chief Trail. The burglary happened sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29.
Elkridge: Burglary
Prescription medication was stolen from the White Oak Motel on the 6100 block of Washington Boulevard. The suspect or suspects entered a motel room by prying open a door. The burglary happened sometime between 3 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30.
