Delivery Driver Robbed at Gunpoint: Crime Roundup

Columbia:

Howard County Police say a pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint at about 11:15 p.m. on the 9200 block of Pigeon Wing Place

The suspects stole money as well as the driver’s keys, car and cell phone, police say. Police are looking for three men:

  • Black man, about 5’6” with a thin build, and short hair 
  • Black man, about 5’8” with a thin build and short hair
  • Black man, about 5’10” with a thin build and short hair

All three suspects were about 21 years old, according to police, and they were all wearing bandannas over their faces at the time of the robbery.

Police say residents returned from vacation to a home on the 7000 block of Ivoryhand Place to find that their home had been broken into. The incident happened sometime between Oct. 5 and Tuesday, Oct. 9. The victims reported two televisions, a Wii game system with games and jewelry were stolen.

On Tuesday, a victim reported a break-in from two weeks prior at a home on the 101000 block of Governor Warfield Parkway. According to police, rings were stolen from the home. 

Also on Tuesday, someone threw a brick through a front window at about 4:50 p.m. at the Kindercare Learning Center on the 108000 block of Little Patuxent Parkway, according to police. It is unknown if anyone broke into the school.

Victims reported jewelry was stolen from a bedroom at a home on the 6400 block of Summer Cloud Way on Tuesday sometime between 6:20 and 9:20 p.m. According to police, a back sliding door was unlocked and the victim also left a garage door half-way open. 

The next night, unknown juvenile suspects kicked in a back door to a home on the same block of Summer Cloud Way, according to police.

Police say a 1993 Ford E-250 with the tags MD 78S884 was stolen last week from the 6400 block of Dobbin Road and a 1999 Mercury with the tags MD 7FMJ39 was stolen from the 5600 block of Stevens Forest Road between 7 and 9:10 a.m. on Sunday

Howard County:

Police say an Audi A8 was stolen from Antwerpen Toyota in Clarksville on Tuesday just before 6 p.m. and a 2002 blue Dodge Caravan with the tags MD5AB0236 was stolen from the 15900 block of Frederick Road in Woodbine last Thursday.

In Savage, police say unknown suspects cut a 4- to 5-foot-long hole in the fenced in area around Alfredo Trucking, on the 8900 block of Corridor Road on Saturday between 10 and 11 a.m. Police say the suspects stole a tool box and two truck rims.

Sometime on Sunday or Monday, suspects smashed a glass door at the Glenarm Building Co. on the 7700 block of Waterloo Road in Jessup, reached in and unlocked it, according to police. Nothing appeared to be missing or disturbed, and police say they do not know if the suspects entered the building.

Police say suspects broke into a vacant building on the 8300 block of Stayton Drive in Jessup Sunday at about 9:30 a.m. and stole copper and panels. Another building on the same block was also broken into, but police did not report anything stolen.

A mountain bike was stolen from a home on the 9400 block of Hidden View Drive in North Laurel sometime late last month or Oct. 1. Police say the suspect entered through an open garage.
