Crime Roundup: Columbia Break-Ins, Robbery and Indecent Exposure
The following information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
Columbia: Robbery
Shortly after 6 p.m. on Oct. 20, three suspects approached a food delivery employee near the 5200 block of Eliots Oak Road, threatened action with a weapon and stole the food and a cell phone. The suspects fled toward Harper's Choice Village Center.
Elkridge: Robbery
Shortly after midnight on Oct. 21, an unknown group of suspects approached a victim walking near the 6500 block of Fallston Road, assaulted him and stole a wallet and watch.
Columbia: Indecent Exposure
Shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 21, a known juvenile exposed himself to another juvenile near the 6300 block of Early Red Court.
Cooksville: Break-In
Between Sept. 5 and Oct. 10, an unknown number of suspects entered the basement door of a residence on the 800 block of Iron Rail Court and stole an electric guitar.
Savage: Break-In
Between 8 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. on Oct. 20, an unknown number of suspects broke a rear window, reached inside and entered a residence on the 9400 block of Birdhouse Circle, stealing a tablet computer and laptop.
Columbia: Break-In
Between 1 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 20, an unknown number of suspects pried open the front door of a residence on the 8300 block of Tamar Drive and ransacked the residence. Police said nothing was reported stolen.
Ellicott City: Break-In
Shortly after 4 p.m. on Oct. 21, an unknown juvenile suspect entered a residence on the 4500 block of Kingscup Court and fled after a resident discovered the suspect. Arriving officers arrested the suspect and reported the juvenile was intoxicated.
Elkridge: Break-In
Between 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Oct. 22, an unknown number of suspects forced open a sliding glass door and entered a residence on the 7900 block of Red Barn Way, stealing two laptops and a video game system.
Columbia: Break-In
Shortly after 3 p.m. on Oct. 23, a known suspect broke a lock on a sliding glass door and entered a residence on the 5900 block of Millrace Court, stealing a cell phone.
Ellicott City: Vehicle Theft
Shortly before 8 p.m. on Oct. 21, a black Nissan Sentra was stolen from near the intersection of Rogers Avenue and Town and Country Boulevard, after being left unattended and running.
Elkridge: Vehicle Theft
Shortly after midnight on Oct. 22, a 1979 Harley Davidson motorcycle was stolen from a residence on the 6400 block of Loudon Avenue.
