Crime Roundup: Break-Ins, Auto Theft in Columbia

The following information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

North Laurel: Commercial Break-In

Between Oct. 21 and Oct. 24, an unknown number of suspects cut a hole in a fence and entered two vehicles at Enterprise Leasing and Rental, on the 10100 block of Washington Boulevard, stealing airbags.

Columbia: Commercial Break-In

Between Oct. 22 and Oct. 24, an unknown number of suspects pried open a side door of New York Deli, on the 9300 block of Snowden River, and stole cash.

Ellicott City: Break-In

Between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 25, an unknown number of suspects broke a rear glass door and reached in to open a residence on the 3000 block of Seneca Chief Trail, stealing watches, jewelry and cash.

Columbia: Break-In

Between Oct. 14 and Oct. 25, an unknown number of suspects entered a vacant home on the 6400 block of Windharp Way and stole kitchen appliances.

Columbia: Break-In

Between 5:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. on Oct. 25, an unknown number of suspects kicked in the front door of a residence on the 6100 block of Agail Place and stole a television.

Columbia: Break-In Attempt

Between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Oct. 24, an unknown number of suspects attempted to enter a residence on the 5800 block of Wyndham Circle by removing window screens, but failed to gain entry.

Ellicott City: Break-In

Between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Oct. 24, an unknown number of suspects pried open a front door of a residence on the 8400 block of Cotoneaster Drive and stole a television, checkbook, jewelry and purses. Police said the incident may be related the the incident below.

Ellicott City: Break-In

Between Oct. 14 and Oct. 23, an unknown number of suspects pried open the front door of a residence on the 8400 block of Cotoneaster Drive and stole several televisions. Police said the incident may be related the the incident above.

Woodstock: Break-In

Between Oct. 14 and Oct. 23, an unknown number of suspects entered a residence on the 2200 block of Merion Pond and stole televisions, jewelry and coins.

Ellicott City: Break-In

Between April 30 and Oct. 14, an unknown number of suspects entered a residence on the 7900 block of Brightlight Place and stole safes containing documents, jewelry and cash.

Jessup: Break-In

Between 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 24, a unknown number of suspects pried open a rear door of a residence on the 8900 block of Rosewood Way and stole a television, jewelry, checks and documents.

Columbia: Vehicle Theft

Shortly before 2 p.m. on Oct. 25, a Toyota Land Cruiser with MD tags M538907 was stolen from a residence on the 5700 block of Cedar Lane.

Elkridge: Vehicle Theft

Shortly after 11 p.m. on Oct. 25, a vehicle was reported stolen from a residence on the 7700 block of Washington Boulevard.
