Snowden River Parkway Crash Sends 1 to Hospital

One person was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center after a two-vehicle crash in Columbia Tuesday morning, the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services said.

First responders rescued a person who had been trapped in one vehicle, while there were no injuries reported in the second vehicle, according to the department.

Snowden River Parkway was closed at Minstrel Way, WBAL reported at 8:58 a.m.

Eastbound lanes of Snowden River Parkway were shut down at Broken Land Parkway, according to ABC 2 News.

Officials advised taking MD Route 32 as an alternate route.
