Columbia Teen Charged in Pasadena Murder

Ronald Lee McLeod of Columbia and Daniel Alex Savage of Glen Burnie were both charged with first-degree murder for allegedly shooting two people outside a Pasadena house party.

 

Anne Arundel County police have charged two teens in a shooting that occurred outside a home in the 7000 block of Outing Avenue in Pasadena early Saturday morning, according to a press release.

Police said Ronald Lee McLeod, of Columbia and Daniel Alex Savage of Glen Burnie—both 18—were charged with first-degree murder in the Pasadena shooting on Saturday morning that claimed the life of 21-year-old Matthew Morrow and injured one other.

Police responded to a shooting in the 7000 block of Outing Avenue at 1:30 a.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victims were transported to area hospitals where police said Morrow died from injuries sustained in the shooting. The second 20-year-old victim, whose name has not been released, was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.

According to the press release, detectives identified McLeod and Savage as suspects in the murder and were able to apply for and receive arrest warrants for the two teens and subsequently charged them with first-degree murder and other related charges.

Additionally, Mcleod was charged with three misdemeanors in relation to this case—possession of handgun on person, possession of handgun in vehicle, possession of handgun - use in violent crime and reckless endangerment.
