Church Burglarized in Hickory Ridge: Howard County Crime Reports

Columbia

Burglary - Prayer Tabernacle Church

Someone stole cash and a video camera from Prayer Tabernacle Church in the 10700 block of Hikcory Ridge Road sometime between April 7 and April 10. Police reported a door was left unsecured to the church.

Two men arranged to meet an acquaintance in the 5300 block of Old Tucker Row on April 10 around 8:30 p.m. When they arrived they were met by four men in a parking lot. One of the men got into the car, demanded money and grabbed the driver from behind. After a struggle inside the car, the four suspects fled the scene. Police described the men as black males, between 18 to 23-years-old, all of them thin. One was wearing tan pants and a t-shirt, the other three were wearing jeans.

Robbery

The driver of a car was assaulted and his cell phone, wallet, cash and keys were stolen by multiple unknown men at a gas station in the 8800 block of Flowerstock Row at 11 p.m. on April 10. Two other men who were riding in the car with the driver reportedly exited the car and spoke with the attackers shortly before the incident.

Ellicott City

Burglary, late reported

Sometime between March 1 and March 15 someone entered a residence in the 5600 block of Tricross Drive, broke an electric meter and then took a fishing pole from the front porch.

Robbery

Two males blocked a delivery person's path to a building and took a portion of a food order in the 8700 block of Town and Country Boulevard around 11 p.m. on April 9. One suspect was described as a black male with a light complexion, a shaved head, who was not wearing a shirt. A detailed description was not given for the second suspect.

Jessup

Commercial Burglary - Forman Equipment

Two storage trailers, one that was unsecured, were broken into at Forman Equipment in the 9400 block of Washington Boulevard. Tractor tires and rims were taken from the unsecured trailer sometime between April 5 and April 8.

Commercial Burglary - Decker Brothers

Someone broke into Decker Brothers in the 9300 block of Washington Boulevard and may have taken brake rotors on April 9, according to police.

County-Wide Vehicle Thefts

A 2007 Dodge Charger was reported stolen from the 5000 block of Jericho Road sometime between April 9 and April 10.

A 2003 black Acura RSX was reported stolen in the 9600 block of Hastings Drive on April 8 at 2:30 p.m.

A 2005 Toyota Camry was reported stolen in the 6100 block of Daylong Lane on April 6. The case was closed after a juvenile arrest.

A 2000 red Honda Civic was reported stolen in the 8500 block of Falls Road on April 5, but later recovered on the eastbound ramp of MD 100.
