Break-In at Aido Bistro: Howard County Crime Roundup

The following information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Columbia: Commercial Break-In

Shortly after 2 a.m. on March 1, an unknown number of suspects pried open the door of Aida Bistro Restaurant in the 6700 block of Columbia Gateway Drive, setting off an alarm. Police officers who responded said it is unknown if anything was stolen.

Between 8 a.m. on Feb. 28 and 8 a.m. Feb. 29, an unknown number of suspects entered the detached shade of a residence in the 10600 block of Gorman Road and stole a lawnmower.

Between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Feb. 29, an unknown number of suspects attempted to force open the door of a residence in the 9500 block of Sylvan Still Road, but failed to gain entry.

Columbia: Break-In

Between 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 29, an unknown number of suspects threw a rock through a kitchen window of a residence in the 9000 block of Queen Maria Court and stole jewelry.

Columbia: Vehicle Theft

Shortly after 2 a.m. on March 1, a blue mini motorized bike was stolen from the 5400 block of Columbia Road.
