Bicyclist Involved in Columbia Crash: Officials
The crash happened near Cedar Lane at Hickory Ridge Road, the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services reported.
One person was taken to the hospital after a bicyclist and vehicle collided Monday morning in Columbia, the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services reported.
The crash occurred near southbound Cedar Lane at Hickory Ridge Road, and the department advised drivers to avoid the area at approximately 9:30 a.m. Monday.
The victim was taken to Howard County General Hospital to get stabilized and was then flown by Maryland State Police helicopter to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, according to officials.
Cedar Lane Parkway was reportedly closed between Owen Brown and Little Patuxent Parkway.
