Arrests Made after River Hill High School Locked Down

A man and woman were arrested in the area of the school after police said they fled from a stolen vehicle.

Police made two arrests after spotting a stolen vehicle near River Hill High School on Tuesday night.

Police locked down the school as a precaution for about an hour after spotting the stolen white Silverado on Route 108 around 6:10 p.m.

Jeremy Lee Wilson, 27, of Gaithersburg, and Mandy Lynn Myers, 31, of Baltimore, were arrested.

Myers was charged with auto theft and multiple theft charges. She is being held at the Howard County Detention Center on $30,000 bond. Wilson is expected to appear in court today, and will likely face the same charges, according to police.

When police pursued the vehicle, the two suspects bailed and ran out on Trotter Road. Police used a helicopter and K9 to search the area.

Wilson and Myers were arrested while walking along Red Clover Lane, said police.
