Armed Robbery on Eliots Oak Road: Howard County Crime Roundup
The following information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
Columbia: Robbery
Shortly after 11 p.m. on April 9, a suspect displayed a handgun to a victim on the 5400 block of Eliots Oak Road and demanded cash. The victim complied and the suspect fled.
Ellicott City: Robbery
Shortly after 9:30 p.m. on April 10, a suspect entered the Sunoco Gas Station, on the 9300 block of Baltimore National Pike, displayed a rife and demanded cash from the clerk. The suspect took cash from the register and fled, but police located the suspect and arrested him. Police said the suspect is a juvenile, 17, and did not specify whether charges would be made.
Ellicott City: Construction Break-In
Between April 6 and April 9, an unknown number of suspects entered an unsecured house under construction, on the 5000 block of Wine Sap Way, and stole a copper pipe.
Clarksville: Break-In
Between 7:45 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. on April 10, an unknown number of suspects entered a residence on the 6500 block of River Clyde Drive, stealing an ATM card, laptop and cash.
Ellicott City: Break-In
Between 8 a.m. and midnight on April 9, an unknown number of suspects entered a residence on the 5000 block of Alice Avenue, stealing a television and jewelry.
Ellicott City: Vehicle Theft Attempt
Shortly after 7 a.m. on April 10, a suspect popped the ignition of a vehicle on the 5300 block of Kerger Road.
