Armed Robbery Near Hammond High School

The following information was provided by the Howard County Police Department.

 

Armed Robbery - Columbia

A male was allegedly assaulted by two unknown males in their late teens to early 20s while walking on the path between Hammond High School and South Columbia Baptist Church on Tuesday around 2:00 p.m. One of the unknown males reportedly displayed a knife during the assault. The victim dropped his headphones during the altercation, which the suspects reportedly took when they fled.

Commercial Breaking and Entering - Columbia

An unknown suspect allegedly broke into an office building by unknown means near 7000 Columbia Gateway Drive between 5 p.m. on Monday and 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The suspect stole cash from a locked safe.
