11 Men Arrested in First Reverse Prostitution Sting of 2013

The men approached plain-clothes female officers in Howard County and offered to pay for sex.

 

Howard County Police charged 11 men with solicitation of prostitution and related charges after they were arrested in an undercover operation on Wednesday along Washington Boulevard in North Laurel.

The men were arrested after they approached plain-clothes female officers and offered money for sex, according to police. This was the first undercover prostitution operation of 2013, said police. In 2012, police arrested 23 men in September, ten men in July, and eight in May in similar operations.

Six of the men were from Laurel, two from Rockville, one from Elkridge, one from Lanham and one from Randallstown, according to police reports.
