Rain, Rain Go Away! There's a Farmers' Market on Sunday & Locally Grown Music by Matt Smith!

Matt Smith, a local Howard County musician, will be making his debut performance at the Sunday Howard County Farmers' Market this Sunday, October 13th, at the Oakland Mills Village Center!

Matt Smith was born in Freehold, NJ and has been playing guitar since the age of 15. His love of music originated as early as 1st grade, when his parents gave his very first tape: The Beach Boys Greatest Hits. His musical influences include Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, Jimi Hendrix, John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chris Cornell, The Beatles and Bruce Springsteen. He has previously played in the alternative rock bands Single Degree of Freedom, Venus From Afar and The Cause, and has performed at clubs, festivals, and weddings throughout the Northeast.

Matt will also be playing on November 10th, 17th and 24th at the Sunday farmers' market.
