Columbia Tax

I'm a long time resident of Columbia, who has paid my CPRA for many years. I think there should be something extra for those of us subjected to this fee. With the holiday season rapidly approaching, and mall parking at a premium, how about a special parking permit that allows premier parking for those of us who are Columbia residents paying our annual dues? Others benefit from the fees Columbia residents to maintain our parks and lakes, so this seems like little to ask in return.
