Rodney Williams died in a motorcycle crash last week.

Funeral services were scheduled Friday morning for a guidance counselor at Glenelg High School who "lived life to the fullest" and was "treasured" by the community, according to the school's principal.

Students shared condolences on Twitter, describing Williams as "one of the greatest people at Glenelg" and someone who "made real changes," according to messages collected by ABC 2 News.

"He was incredibly upbeat and lived life to the fullest," Schindler said, calling Williams a "treasured member of our Student Services Department" who advised the class of 2013, coached teams and sponsored clubs and activities.

According to his obituary, Williams' hobbies included cycle cross and coaching football, wrestling, field hockey, allied soccer and lacrosse. He was inducted into the Old Mill High School Hall of Fame for wrestling in 2006, the obituary said.

Williams lived in Westminster with his wife and two daughters, and "his number-one priority was his girls," according to his obituary.

A memorial service was planned for 10 a.m. on Friday, June 27, at Baker Memorial Chapel at McDaniel College in Westminster. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested contributions go to the Education Fund for Rod Williams' Children, c/o New Windsor State Bank, 181 E. Main Street, Westminster, MD 21157.
