Veterans Eat Free at Applebee's on Veteran's Day

Veterans eat free from a special menu at Applebee's on Veteran's Day.

Applebee's is offering a free meal to veterans and active duty service members on Veteran's Day (Nov. 11) in what the company says has become an annual neighborhood tradition.

This is the fifth year the nationwide company has hosted military members on Veteran's Day for free. Each year they give out about one million free meals as part of the promotion.

In order to get a free meal, guests must provide proof they are or were a member of the military, such as an ID card, a photograph in uniform, or arrive wearing a uniform.

Applebee's has one restaurant in Columbia located at 8335 Benson Drive.
