Soup'r Sundae Family Fundraiser for Grassroots

The Horizon Councils and Rotary Clubs of Howard County are hosting the fourth annual Soup‘r Sundae, a family event featuring soups prepared by area restaurants, as a fundraiser for Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center on Sunday, March 11, from noon-2 p.m., at Wilde Lake High School, 5460 Trumpeter Road, Columbia, MD 21044. Howard County General Hospital is the presenting sponsor.

Participating restaurants include AIDA Bistro & Wine Bar, Clyde’s of Columbia, Coho Grill, Elkridge Furnace Inn, Honey Baked Ham Company, Iron Bridge Wine Company, Kelsey’s, LeeLynn’s, Nor Pac Soup Co., Tersiguel’s, Victoria Gastro Pub, and Waterside Restaurant at the Sheraton Columbia.  Participating bakeries include Bonaparte Breads, The Breadery and Great Harvest Bread Company.

Admission is $20 per adult and $5 per child under 12 and includes unlimited soup and bread and ice cream, which is being provided by Nestle-Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream.  There will be music, as well as arts and crafts activities for children.
