(Columbia, MD) -- On June 7, FIRN's 9th Annual American Success Awards dinner will honor Howard County’s foreign-born business and community Ravi Waldon and Yen Li for their outstanding contributions to the county’s economy and the community.
The award, presented by FIRN recognizes foreign-born individuals who live or work in Howard County and have made a significant contribution to either their ethnic or general communities. Award winners have distinguished themselves by either owning a successful Howard County business or achieving a high level of success in his or her chosen profession.
FIRN will also bestow the Pat Hatch award on Dr. Richard M. Krieg, President & CEO of The Horizon Foundation.

Named after FIRN's founder, the Pat Hatch award recognizes and honors an individual in our community who not only demonstrates a keen awareness and interest in "Bridging Cultures and Building Community," but also has made a significant difference in the lives of the foreign born in our community through their volunteer and leadership efforts.
