Yoga for Stiff Guys and Gals

This class will help you connect with your body in a positive way, through gentle yoga postures and sequences designed for people with stiff or larger bodies. Men and women of all shapes and sizes are welcome to attend, regardless of experience level or flexibility. You will learn safe alignment in yoga postures, how to smoothly transition from one posture to another, yogic breathing techniques for relaxation, stress relief and how to modify postures and use props to make yoga postures more accessible for your body.

Karen Pedra came to Yoga in search of a healthier lifestyle. She soon discovered that Yoga offered her so much more, from relieving stress to opening her heart. Her passion is teaching unique populations, from those recovering from illness, or living with the challenges of chronic pain or disease, to those with physical challenges, and seniors. The therapeutic benefits and the non competitive nature of her classes make them a safe place for all. Join Karen for a class filled with love and laughter.
