Want to use storytelling to boost your business? Then attend this workshop on March 11th!

As an entrepreneur, small business owner, or aspiring entrepreneur, you have a wealth of experience and knowledge to share with others. Yet, perhaps you find it difficult to enroll people in your vision, or maybe you struggle to get enough clients for your business.

Storytelling can help you have a greater impact and grow your business. With stories you can tap into your audience members’ imaginations and anchor a message. You can keep listeners on the edges of their seats, waiting to hear what you have to say next.

Marin Toyama from Toastmasters International is giving a workshop on How to Use Storytelling to Captivate, Persuade, and Inspire People on March 11th from 10:30 – 11:30 AM. In this interactive, hands-on workshop you will:

  • Learn the 4 Cs to crafting a powerful story that captivates, persuades, and inspires,
  • Learn the key to making your presentations more memorable and interesting,
  • Walk away with the secret to selling from the stage without sounding salesy or pushy.

This is one of many workshops being offered at the Success in the City Expo. The Expo is taking place on March 10th and 11th at the Lord Baltimore Hotel in Baltimore. Expo tickets can be purchased for one or both days and include all workshops being offered on the day(s) purchased.

The workshop is sponsored by Toastmasters International and will be led by Marin Toyama. Marin is an international award-winning speaker and coach who helps entrepreneurs boost their business and get more clients through speaking. Marin was a finalist in the 2013 Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking, a competition that draws over 35,000 competitors from around the world. She uses the skills she learned through competing and growing her own business to help others become profitable, confident, and engaging speakers. Find out more about Marin at www.marintoyama.com/
