"The Natural World" an Exhibit by the Central Maryland Photographers' Guild

Central Maryland Photographers’
Guild’s New Exhibit “The Natural World” opens
at
Howard County Conservancy



The new exhibit, “The Natural World,” is a collection of images
preserving unique moments in time and space of as captured through the lenses
of the Guild’s members’ cameras.




(Ellicott City, MD) Members of the Central Maryland Photographers’ Guild will be exhibiting
35 photographs at the Howard County Conservancy, Gudelsky Environmental Education Center from October 15 to November 12, 2013. The Conservancy is located at 10520
Old Frederick Road, Woodstock, Maryland 21163-0175. The
exhibit gallery will be open to the public each week, Wednesday through Saturday, from 9am
- 3pm. Visitors are advised to call the Conservancy (410-465-8877) to verify
that the gallery will be open to visitors. The exhibit, “The Natural World”, includes intimate animal portraits, landscape
vistas, plant life, and waterfalls. Some of the photographs were taken in Howard County, others were captured throughout Maryland. Others capture landscapes and
wildlife in America’s national parks and scenic venues
across the country.

The Central Maryland
Photographers’ Guild
conceived in the spring and summer of
2003, and began meeting formally in November of that year. The founders saw the
need for an organization that served the area west of Baltimore,
and was dedicated to a primary goal of education and skills development. www.CMPG.smugmug.com



The Howard County Conservancy was founded by a
group of local citizens in 1990 to help preserve the natural environment,
agricultural farmland, and unique historic sites in Howard
County.
Headquartered at the 300 year old, 232-acre Mt. Pleasant Farm in Woodstock,
Maryland, the Conservancy
