"TEA with a VIEW"

'TEA with a VIEW" at Artists' Gallery in Town Center, Columbia from September 30 through November 1.

Local clay artist, Winnie Coggins, will display her teapots along with pastel landscapes by Barbara Steinacker.

Opening reception:  Friday, October 4, 6-8 p.m.

Meet the artists:      Saturday, October 5, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Coggins' teapots primarily follow Western design, while the tea cups reflect the Eastern tradition of

something to cradle in your hand as you savor the brew.

Steinackers' landscapes offer the view: New

Mexico desert and sunset scenes,  Eastern summer greens and late

autumn scenes at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Delaware.
