There will be a state-sponsored scrap tire drop-off day at Alpha Ridge Landfill on September 28 from 8am to 3:30pm. Residents are limited to 10 tires, but there is no limit for agriculture related tires.
Tire hauler permits by the state have been given a waiver for the event.
Participants must be able to load their tires into a roll-off container.
