Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Presents Rhapsody in Red – “Las Vegas Night” on Saturday, Nov.

16





Columbia, MD. – The Columbia (MD) Alumnae Chapter

of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., in conjunction with the

Columbia Delta Foundation, will hold its annual scholarship fundraiser,

Rhapsody in Red, on Saturday, November 16th at the Hilton BWI Hotel,

located at 1739 West Nursery Road, in Linthicum, MD.

The night will include
dinner, dancing, and Las Vegas style casino games. It is scheduled from
8pm-12am.



Come out and try your hand at Black Jack, Poker, Roulette, Craps

and the Money Wheel!  Don't gamble?  There is something for you too! There will be
dancing, and a full, three course dinner. Music will be provided by Old School
Productions, and casino games by Showbiz Productions. Prizes will also be
awarded to the top casino winners of the evening! Door prizes will include
fabulous gifts from Mano Swartz (www.manoswartz.com), to include genuine furs and gift certificates.



Purchased chips will be fully tax deductible and as part of the

evening, the Columbia Delta Foundation will host a silent auction. The proceeds
from this annual event will not only support community outreach programs, but also
fund scholarships for college bound high school seniors.





Tickets are $75 each and the event is open to all adults 21 years

of age, and older. Tickets must be purchased by November 9, 2013.  To make a purchase, please contact

The Columbia (MD) Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was

chartered in 1971, just four years after the new town of Columbia was

established in Howard County, Maryland. The Columbia chapter was the first

African-American Greek organization to start a chapter in Howard County and has
grown to one of the largest Delta chapters in the nation with more than 400
chapter members. The chapter serves the Howard County community through its
programs and projects based on the sorority’s Five Point Programmatic
Thrust:  Physical and Mental Health, Educational
