Oakland Mills Walking and Bus Tour

The Verona Apartments have been sold to the Howard County Housing Commission. What's next for Oakland Mills?

Here's a great chance to learn all you can and be involved. Come out on Sunday and enjoy a full discussion of the plans and the future of the Oakland Mills Village Center. There will be a walking tour of the Village Center area with County officials to view and discuss areas for potential enhancements.

We will gather for the tour and site visit at the pavilion on Robert Oliver Place next to Columbia Bank. The walking tour will be immediately followed by a site visit to Monarch Mills, a recently redeveloped Housing Commission. Bus transportation will be provided.

Refreshments will be provided, and the site visit will conclude by 3 p.m.
