Model Yacht Races

Model Yacht Races will take place on Lake Kittamanqundi.  All model sailboat enthusiasts are invited to race their yachts against those from the Maryland Model Yacht Club.  Winner takes bragging rights! Saturday, June 14, noon – 3 pm

These races take place during the Columbia Festival of the Arts FREE Weekend on the Lakefront,  a weekend-long event on the lakefront in Columbia Town Center that includes live music, an invitational arts and crafts show, strolling performers, festival food fare-- including Maryland Wineries and a Brew Zone--and an array of activities and entertainment for all ages.
