Misako Ballet Company presents "Spring Collage"

Misako Ballet Company will be joined by several friends to present “Spring Collage” at the Jim Rouse Theater on February 16th, at 2:00pm.

This concert will be a collage of dance, spanning time and showcasing diverse cultures and styles.

Misako Ballet Company will offer variations from the ballet Paquita and “Japanese Nursery Rhymes and Songs” choreographed by artistic director Misako Aoki.  Woven into the ballet “Japanese Nursery Rhymes and Songs” are themes that reflect the four seasons in nature and the freedom and innocence of childhood.    This cycle will include two new pieces:  “Dreaming of Home” and “Orange Blossoms.”
