With face paints and other craft materials, you will paint and decorate your hand creating an empowering message to inspire healthy relationships – healthy dating relationships, healthy friendships and healthy families.
Your I CAN expression is a step in creating your vision of what WE as a community can accomplish if we all say “I CAN end violence.”
What is Global Youth Service Day?
Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) is a campaign of Youth Service America, an international leader in the youth service movement. With GYSD projects in all 50 states, more than 100 countries, and six continents, GYSD is the largest service event in the world.
Once you register, you will receive step-by-step instructions on how to hold the I CAN WE CAN Event. If you have face paint and an internet connection you are on your way to hosting a fun, and engaging awareness event about violence prevention.
