Healing Tastes of Autumn Workshop

In this 4-hour workshop, discover plants that have served past cultures - and still serve us today - through their medicinal properties and culinary uses. The first part of the workshop focuses on identifying local medicinal and edible plants through a trail walk at the Middle Patuxent Environmental Area (MPEA). Participants return to Robinson Nature Center to sample recipes and learn about the medicinal uses of identified plants. Bring a packed lunch and wear clothing and shoes appropriate for hiking. Meet at Robinson Nature Center. Transportation to and from Robinson and the MPEA is provided. Recommended age is 16 yrs +. Call 410-313-0400 to purchase tickets ($30).
