Howard County Government will host its 7th annual GreenFest on Saturday, April 5 from 10am to 4pm at the HCC Burrill Galleria. This free event offers something for all ages and features exhibits, live animals, compost and rain barrel workshops, demonstrations, activities and practical tips for easy ways to "green" your home, workplace and lifestyle. This year's theme is "Water Quality Begins At Home" and focuses on steps you can take at home and in the community to make a big difference to our local waterways. www.HCGreenFest.org
