Rep Stage Celebrates the Holidays with Readings of David Sedaris’ Most Beloved Christmas Stories


December 20, 21, 22 and 23, 2012


For theatergoers looking for unique fare this holiday season, Rep Stage has just the ticket!  Michael Stebbins, Rep Stage’s producing artistic director, will bring to life “Holidays On Ice by David Sedaris”, holiday stories with that humorous Sedaris twist! Caustic tales with just a dash(er) of pessimism on December 20, 21, 22 and 23, 2012, in the Horowitz Center’s Monteabaro Recital Hall at Howard Community College (HCC). As well as reading from the “Holidays on Ice” collection, Stebbins will read stories from the latest collection of Sedaris essays, “Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk.” As part of the show, there will be also be opportunities for audience members to win holiday door prizes. Silly holiday dress encouraged!

Performance times are 8 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, December 20, 21 and 22; and 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 23. All tickets are $15 and may be purchased at the Horowitz Center Box Office, online at www.repstage.org, or by calling 443-518-1500. Parental discretion is advised.
