are seeking talent for our cast of The Producers.

Auditions
Will be conducted at Slayton House, 10400 Cross Fox Lane, Columbia, MD 21044

Monday and Tuesday, November 26, 27, 2012 from 7 - 9:30 p.m. - Singing and reading.

Wednesday,
November 28, 2012 from 7:30-9 pm. Call backs if needed.

First rehearsal: Thursday, November 29 at 7 pm.

Prepare 16-24 bars of music suitable for The Producers production that best showcase your voice/range. Bring both an up-tempo piece and a ballad for us to select from. Bring piano sheet music for you to sing with our accompanist. Be prepared to cold read from the script. You may also be asked to do a movement sequence.

The Producers is a 12-time Tony-winning musical comedy based on Mel Brooks' 1968 film The Producers. This show highlights a zany
get-rich-quick scheme by two failing producers calculating to gain from a “definite” Nazi-themed theater flop. In true Brooks’ fashion the characters display outrageous hyperbole.

All parts are open.

Performance dates are: March 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 2013 at Slayton House in Columbia, MD. You are expected to be available for all rehearsals two weeks prior to tech week.
Rehearsals will take place in Columbia.

First rehearsal is November 29. Music and dance rehearsals start in December.

Also bring your resume with a recent head shot and contact information. Include on your resume all conflict dates/times starting November 29 through March 10,
2013. For more information contact the Director, Mo Dutterer, at ssqq16@verizon.net. You can obtain an audition form on our Silhouette Stages website at silhouettestages.com.
