Dazzle Dash Walk at Symphony of Lights

The time-honored Howard County holiday tradition, Symphony of Lights, is ushering in the holiday season with Dazzle Dash, a 1.4-mile run and walk through the light displays. The walkers’ event is Sunday, Nov. 24 from 4–7:30 p.m.

Dazzle Dash attendees will enjoy games and activities for children of all ages, food, music, entertainment and giveaways. Activities include face painting, crafts and a moon bounce. Dazzle Dash is sponsored by Apple Ford Lincoln.

The cost for Dazzle Dash is $25 per participant registered before Nov. 1 with discounts for group registration; children age 3 and under are free. Cost includes food, giveaways and a long-sleeved Dazzle Dash T-shirt (while supplies last). Please register online at www.hcgh.org/dazzledash

Symphony of Lights is a family-oriented 20-minute drive-through display of more than 70 larger-than-life animated and stationary holiday light creations, made up of more than 250,000 bulbs.

The display, located in the Symphony Woods off Broken Land Parkway in Columbia, opens nightly from 6–10 p.m. The show runs from Nov. 25, 2013, through Jan. 5, 2014. Symphony of Lights is closed Dec. 31 for the Midnight at 7 event. Private walk-throughs are also available for groups.
