Does the sound of swinging brass, groovy walking bass lines, and funky sax solos sound like a good time to you? How about relaxing for a few hours while listening to a full piece jazz orchestra play the music of Ellington, Basie, and more? If you weren’t at Christ Memorial Presbyterian Church last November to hear the Columbia Jazz Band perform, or if you’d like to hear them play again, here is your chance! On Saturday November 16th, The Columbia Jazz Band will perform in the Sanctuary from 7 to 9 p.m. The band will play two 45 minute sets with an intermission in between. They will play a variety of jazz styles both old and new. All are welcome and admission is free of charge! Do your ears a favor and join us for this annual event!
