Community Corner

Christmas for Kids!

Busy parents are invited to bring their children to
the 2013 Christmas for Kids at Christ Lutheran Church (On Clarksville
Pike/Rte. 108, just south of Guilford Road)
from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm,
on Saturday, December 14.

Christmas for Kids is offered free to the community by Christ
Lutheran Church, and the children of the area, no matter their background or
affiliation, are invited to attend.  At
the same time, parents will be given a few extra hours on a weekend to take
care of their holiday preparations — or simply catch their breath. Joy to the World! focuses on the “good news of great joy … for all people” (Luke 2:10) that is the Christmas message so that children understand the importance of the holiday and what it all means. At a time when children tend to look forward to getting toys and games, this program will help children look forward to Jesus’ coming to give them what is most important.  The event will include the Christmas story, crafts, a snack, fun — and songs to present to the parents!  The day's activities are for children age 4 through 8th grade.

Due to space limitations, pre-registration is
requested.  To register a child, please visit
the church web site — www.christlutheran.net
— or call Audrey at (410) 730-5209 (Christmas for Kids registration only).  Interested parents may also call the church
office at (301) 854-2100 or email office@christlutheran.net
for more information.
